Logistics post and shameless hype-- I have a library app called Libby, which allows me to check books, magazines, and possibly other media out, in electronic form, from my local library with my library card. Since the library subscribes to the New Yorker, I may check it out for free. The Libby app is also free.
Good point, that hadn't even occurred to me. But I meant to be referring to the "e-version" of the magazine which I would receive if I checked it out through the Libby app. I'm hoping this article under discussion will be included!

Actually the library is a great option. I'm not sure if everything online goes into the print magazine however.
