We’ve thought that technology would save us. I’m not sure anymore! There are as many negatives than positives it appears! It’s fairly common to jump on the bandwagon only to be overwhelmed by negative results!
I do believe every leap forward in technology has led to huge shifts in how we interact with each other and the world. Some effects intentional, many not. Some overall good things, some not so much. Some of great benefit to large portions of the population. But there will always be those who are displaced and disrupted in unwelcome ways.
The thing is; throughout our history all innovations have caused disruption to the way things were. Goodness, we're still reeling from the effects of the printing press in ways we still don't fully appreciate.
AI will disrupt, AI will cause change. AI will NOT kill the creative human spirit or cause us to abandon working with creative processes. None of this can or will change who we fundamentally are: creatives bearing the image of the Creator.

As Christians, we are the imagers of Christ. If AI can be used to glorify God, should we not consider it?
